Tennis Sweeps Colby-Sawyer 9-0

The Mount Holyoke tennis team served a complete shutout last weekend as they dominated Colby-Sawyer College with a 9-0 victory. Only the third match into this spring season, the Lyons gave a solid performance against the Chargers in both singles and doubles to earn their second win of the spring season.

Riding Team earns high point reserve honors

The nationally-ranked Mount Holyoke equestrian team hosted their annual Horse Show this past weekend. They finished in second place, just two points behind UMass-Amherst, earning them Reserve High Point College Honors.

Only the top-ranked team in each region will earn a spot at the Zone 1 Equestrian Finals this April, and that is exactly where the equestrian team wants to go.

Giving it one more chance

I tripped on a ball that started it all. While the rhyming was intentional, the fall I took that night was not.
Meet me, Katharine Kaftanski, a sports-obsessed human being with slightly favored feelings toward the sport of soccer. I made my way into the world through every avenue imaginable, including T-ball, basketball, baseball, swimming, tennis, track, dance, crew and of course soccer.

Squash wins Seven Sisters Championship

One year ago, the Mount Holyoke squash team recorded its first Seven Sister Championship. That momentum has followed them ever since, leading them to last Saturday when they conquered the Seven Sisters Championship for the second consecutive year.
Hosted by Smith, they faced strong competition and overcame all their opponents with grace and intensity.
