Muggle Quidditch has become a popular sport adapted by fans of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter. The game was established at Middlebury College and has since grown to a 226 member Intercollegiate Quidditch Association. Recently Mount Holyoke has been taking steps towards becoming a member. On April 17 students took to Skinner Green complete with brooms and IDs in order to prove that participants were at least 18; Quidditch is a full contact sport and all participants had to sign a wavier. Although it was a practice game, if enough people participate Quidditch could grow into a registered organization on campus.
