Some interesting and potentially thought provoking articles I have stumbled upon this week:
- Any interest with women and the media? Check out this Bitch Magazine podcast discussion where the questions of ” How is technology influencing advertising effects?” and “Where are the women in media creation and distribution?”is discussed.
- New Zealand loves Justin Bieber …. maybe a bit too much, mobbing him at the airport. The picture, seen here, makes me a little scared for his life (and his precious hair).
- Ever get tired of your wardrobe? Can’t wear those same pair of jeans again? Well one woman has gotten rid of that problem, she wore the same dress for a whole year, to blog about it and to promote sustainable fashion. Pretty impressive if you consider how creative she had to get. The L.A. Times article goes into more details here.
- The internet could not get more personal than blogging about your death but, in fact, it has become popular throughout the globe. Sadie Stein of Jezebel.com explains.
- This is by-far my favorite post of the week, maybe even all time. We can all relate to the “Common-Sense Rules For Surviving Teenage Pop-Culture Fandom”, thanks NPR!
