Op/Ed Pick: Health Care

This article raises the important issue of immigration that President Obama plans to address after Health care.  The question of whether to limit the number of immigrants that hold work positions in U.S. companies in order to give the benefit to Americans is controversial; especially if “more than 58% of graduate students in computer sciences were foreign, and so were more than 68% in electrical engineering.”  To dis-include the immigrants would actually put U.S. companies such as Microsoft at a large competitive disadvantage.  So is it wrong to fill positions with immigrants who are more qualified than Americans are?
